Greenwich House

Greenwich House are ahead of the game with Spotlight on Waste month...

Residents of Greenwich House arrived to work two weeks ago to find a wall of boxes that previously held reams of printer paper.  It was a visual reminder of the amount of paper we use across the building.

Take-away facts were provided on how to further reduce our use of paper and enter a competition to guess the number of sheets of paper used in an average month and the number of trees that are cut down annually to feed our habit!

Congratulations to the winners: Ben Mayo, Bekki Ward and Nicholas Ward. The Green Impact Team hope they are enjoying their prizes of potted herbs.

As for the wall of boxes, we are currently using the equivalent of 80 boxes of paper (400 reams) per month, which is 200,000 sheets per month.  Let’s work together to get that number down!
